Shahwilayat Public School: A Brief History

Started as a small school in 1990, with the aim to provide quality education to the lower and middle-class families of Karachi, the school’s first batch of 24 appeared in the SSC examination in 1996 and all of them cleared good grades.

Continuing the brilliant work, the school introduced O’levels in 2000, and the first batch passed out in 2005. The School is now catering to the educational needs of more than 1800 students. Matric examinations are conducted by Agha Khan University Examination Board (AKUEB).

Facilities and Resources:

The school has state-of-the-art facilities that include modern classrooms, a well-equipped library, science labs, and computer labs. The school also has sports facilities such as a playground and a sports field. Additionally, the school has a transportation system for the students’ convenience.

Admisson Procedure for 2023-2024

The Shahwilayat Public School provides clear guidelines on its admission procedures. The School only enrolls students in elementory class as it operates on Early Childhood Care and Eduaction model of schooling.

The results of interview and assesment will be displayed on the school’s notice board on 25th March, 2023. The first 100 students will be enrolled in the morning session. An option will be given to the parents of next 120 students if they opt-in to enroll their children in the evening session.

For the Year 2023-2024, The registration process for elementory class begins on 25th January, 2023 and will close on 2nd Feburary, 2023. After that, parents will be given a date of assessment and an interview of their child at the time of registration.

New session starts on 10th August, 2023. The Requird age as on 10th July, 2023 is from 2 years and 6 months to 3 years and 6 months. One month relation can be provided by the school.

Curriculum and programs at the Shahwilayat Public School:

SWPS follows the national curriculum of Pakistan and also offers additional programs such as extracurricular activities, sports teams, and clubs. The school also provides special education classes for students with learning difficulties. Additionally, the school offers advanced academic programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) program.
